Safe Chain has spent the last 15 years building our manufacturer and wholesaler relationships. We have over 100 vendor accounts established for all of your sourcing needs. This allows us to supply what you need, when you and your patients need it most.

We provide a wide range of pharmaceuticals and health care products and deliver them safely and securely to a diverse network of healthcare facilities nationwide. SafeChain was founded by brothers, Charlie and Pat Boyd, in 2011. What started as a boutique logistics and wholesale distribution business has now transformed into a full-service pharmaceutical wholesaler focused on providing wholesale + wholecare pharmaceutical sourcing solutions. Our company has grown from only 2 employees to over 50 employees with multiple locations. Our core values are the vital link supporting the care we have for our customers and their patients.

SafeChain is licensed nationally, including controlled substances (schedules II-V), with the DEA. Headquartered in Cambridge, MD, the company also has sales offices in Miami, FL and operates distribution centers in Cambridge, MD and St. George, UT.

Yes. For all customers requesting credit terms, there is a credit application to complete. Approvals can take 1 to 5 days.
We accept ALL payment methods other than cash: Wire, ACH, Credit Card, Check
Invoices are generated after orders have been processed and will be automatically sent to the email address on file. Customer account statements are generated weekly if there is an open balance on the account. If there is no account balance, a statement will not be generated.

Most in-stock items can be ordered up until 6 PM EST to guarantee next day delivery. Larger items that ship Freight or items which cannot be shipped overnight can take longer.
